Understanding client requirements is the first step in creating a successful project. At the heart of this process is the design engineering team that interacts with our sales staff to ensure accurate representation of the client requirement in addition to the following responsibilities:
- Creates project proposals including equipment and labor in accordance with the provided budgetary, functional, and aesthetic requirements.
- Performs front end system engineering while specifying equipment to minimize change orders late in the project due to poor or incomplete designs.
- Creates floor plan views with our unique icon set to illustrate device locations throughout the property.
- Provides product specifications, equipment space, ventilation and electrical requirements as needed on each project.
- Provides design and construction drawings for dedicated purpose media room environments including intricate site line, elevation, plan, detailed room and section views, and construction specifications.
- Responsible for selecting product brands and lines, managing our internal product and design databases.
- Supports internal design and project management staff with engineering support and data.
